Problem Addressed: About 50% of the world’s population is not connected to the internet. The unconnected primarily reside in rural areas where fibre is too expensive to deploy. There is a need for alternative technology to complement fibre such that cost of internet delivery can be made economical. One of the ways to solve this problem is high-throughput wireless backhaul and satellite communications.

Product Brief: Developing the world’s first multi-beam E-band radio (a viable alternative to fibre) makes it cheaper to distribute multi- Gbps capacity wirelessly. Multiple-Point-to-Point (Multi- P2P) communication means that a single GigaMesh device can simultaneously communicate to multiple surrounding GigaMesh radios while maintaining full data throughput to each surrounding radio. Due to this, the capital expenditure cost per link is very low for GigaMesh deployments. As a result, GigaMesh provides fiber-like backhaul at a fraction of the cost of fiber and enables operators to expand their network quickly.
