Problem Addressed: Gold jewellery is polished using small pins in a washer machine fitted with powerful electromagnets at the bottom. This process may sometimes cause the tiny pins to be stuck with small pores in the jewels. This causes reduction in quality of the jewels produced and to be removed. In the current scenario, the pin is removed manually and is time consuming.

Innovation / Brief of the product: Technology that has been developed for the detection of minutest ferrous impurities is by using the finest electromagnetic field sensing sensors and it’s electronicscircuits which is designed, developed and patented by Magnic Technologies. Externally the machine consists of a conveyor belt which is a platform on which the gold materials can be placed. The conveyor moves at a constant speed of 0.375 Mtr Per Second. At the end of the conveyor, there is a collection tray which is separated into bins.
