DST Geospatial Hackathon
Department of Science and Technology organised the ‘DST GEOSPATIAL HACKATHON’ program in partnership with TBI at IIIT Hyderabad and Microsoft in order to mobilize and inculcate innovative ideas and applied research in Geospatial domain.
The program had Survey of India (SOI) as a knowledge partner in the Geospatial domain, Microsoft as a Corporate Partner, and TBI supported by DST at IIIT Hyderabad –CIE (Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship) as academic and program execution partner.
DST – NASSCOM – Microsoft Innovate For Accessible India
“Innovate for Accessible India” campaign was launched jointly by Microsoft India and NASSCOM Foundation in partnership with Department of Science and Technology, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, National Research and Education Network.
The campaign acted as an aggregator of workable technology solutions to address the gaps experienced by people with disabilities across the 21 officially recognised disabilities such as in acquiring services and support in education, skill building, employment, mobility, rehabilitation and other government services. The campaign featured the participation of students, citizens and social impact organisations. Top 10 best solutions developed in the campaign were provided mentoring support by Microsoft and NASSCOM Foundation, along with grants to develop and scale their solution.
DST – Lockheed Martin India IIGP 2.0
DST – Lockheed Martin IIGP 2.0 was launched to identify, award and accelerate innovative new Indian technologies (after right scientific and commercial value assessment) into the global market space. IIGP commenced in 2008 and IIGP 2.0 launched in 2017 in collaboration with Tata Trust.

DST – Intel PLUGIN was a one year accelerated incubation program to support hardware & electronics systems startups in the country.
